This is a poetry book with a difference. I believe that reading and writing poetry are really good for wellbeing and I want to encourage the practice. My book contains a selection of my poems written over many years in various styles and formats and covering many topics. I explain in detail how I wrote some of them, sharing the inspiration and a thorough analysis of the form and words. It is written in a very accessible and appealing manner. I also include a range of activities to encourage people to write poems for themselves. I have tried these exercises out and I know they work even with people who think they are not very creative. These can be used by individuals, writing groups or by a tutor.
