We're locked down but we still want you to be able to get your books from us online
Unfortunately, given the latest government updates regarding tier 4 restrictions, we have taken the decision to temporarily furlough all of The Bookhouse team. We are therefore unable to respond to any enquiries at this time.
We are currently planning for re-opening as soon as we are allowed to and we will have loads of brand new releases for adults and children.
In the meantime, just scroll down this page to see a number of collections of new releases and book club favourites we have put together that are available via our partners at bookshop.org. If you are looking for a specific book, or just want to browse some more, click on the 'Visit out Virtual Shopfront' to access over 5 million titles, all at 7% less than RRP. All books purchased here will be posted direct to your door.
Thank you again for all your support. Stay safe and we hope to see you all again soon.

Nicola Sturgeon's 2020 Reading List
A famously avid reader, the FM is known for her love of Scottish crime fiction and historical fiction, as well as, perhaps unsurprisingly, non fiction politics essays.
This month's book club pick is...
We currently have five adult book clubs and one junior book club that meet at the Bookhouse (virtually at the moment). Each month a different member of each group takes a turn at picking the group's next read. Here is a selection of their current and last choices.
