1938. The bonnie banks of the silvery Tay. North-east Scotland. A sleepy hollow seaside town. McTaggart is a happy man. Up until now, his life has been a quiet one. Amidst fears of a new bloody European conflict involving Germany, a sudden explosion of dastardly crime turns his town upside down. The local community are up in arms, demanding answers. The Inspector of police is giving it his best shot, but there are no real clues, no witnesses, few suspects. He must find some answers fast, for the stakes are high.

Author: Ken Ramsay

He was schooled at Forthill Primary, Grove Academy (1969-75) and Dundee University (1975-79).
