Base paints contain more pigment than others, which means they give strong, solid coats. This makes them ideal for applying as a foundation for other paints.

Base – Step 1

Simply place your Base paints on a palette, thin them with a small drop of water, and apply them to the miniatures with your brush of choice.

Base – Step 2
Two thin coats is usually enough to get complete coverage. Make sure each coat is dry before you apply the next.
