Citadel Colour Layer: Screaming Skull

The Citadel Colour 12ml Layer Screaming Skull Acrylic Paint from the acrylic paints range provides a superb quality paint for Warhammer 40K and Games Workshop model making.

Layer paints have less pigment in than Base paints and flow better from the brush. They’re designed to be applied on top of Base paints to make them brighter, or to add highlights.

Layer – Step 1

Apply Layer paints to your palette and thin them to the consistency you want with water. Then, apply them over the base paints into areas where you want a brighter colour.

Layer – Step 2
If you want to pick out details and make them pop then succssive applications of Layer paints, working from darker to brighter, will let you highlight areas so they stand out.
