The synthetic M Layer brush is, quite possibly, the single most useful brush you will ever own. While we've designed it to give you perfect layer coats every time, it's also serviceable for basing, washing, or anything else you could think of as far as painting your models is concerned. As a Citadel STC brush, the bristles have been made out of the finest 100% synthetic fibres Games Workshop have ever produced, helping to maintain the ideal brush shape and prevent curling at the tip. This brush has been carefully designed to paint any level of detail you might encounter. It's an excellent companion to regular Citadel brushes, and designed to work perfectly with the Citadel Colour paint range.

The best Bookshop in Scotland

An Absolute Gem for Warhammer Enthusiasts and Book Lovers Alike!

I can’t recommend the bookhouse enough for anyone passionate about Warhammer or who simply loves a great independent bookshop. As someone who frequents this store mainly for its impressive Warhammer selection, I’ve consistently been blown away by the depth of their stock, attention to detail, and the personal touch that the larger chain stores just can’t replicate.

First off, the selection of Warhammer miniatures, paints and accessories are top-notch. They carry everything making it a one-stop-shop for fans of both Warhammer 40K and Age of Sigmar. Whether you’re looking for novels, rulebooks, or even the latest Citadel paints, they’ve got it covered. And if by chance they don’t have what you’re looking for, Peter is always more than happy to place special orders — they genuinely go the extra mile to ensure you leave happy.

Speaking of the staff, they are one of the shop’s biggest strengths. They are knowledgeable, passionate, and always willing to engage in a wee chat. They don’t just know the stock; they live and breathe this stuff, which makes every visit feel like hanging out with fellow hobbyists rather than a typical retail experience.

Beyond Warhammer, they also boast a wide variety of other genres, including fantasy, sci-fi, and more. You can tell this shop was built by people who love books and it shows in every corner of the store.

In short, if you're into Warhammer or just appreciate a friendly, independent bookshop that takes care of its customers, the bookhouse is a must-visit. Every trip there is a pleasure, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my Warhammer fix!
